I love the atmosphere and the food is very delicious, especially the soups and salads, my favorite sushi here is the rainbow sushi

Not the cheapest in town but the Iron Man is awesome ! Glad this small business is doing well.

I used to live in a big city that had many options for good sushi. When I moved back to Saginaw, I couldn't find good sushi until I went here. The sushi is very fresh and management is very nice, not the best sushi I ever had but it's enough to satisfy my craving. The lady that works the front desk almost always gives me a free miso soup if I make a large order too.

Start out by saying if you want to be taken care of, this is the place to go. Along with paying for the sushi, you get a free soup or salad, and a little cream puff at the end. The green tea is fantastic. It's nice and earthy. The sushi is wonderful and nice big pieces. I seen some complaint that there is more rice than anything, and I have never seen that here. Any time I eat here, the rice to fish and other fillings pretty on spot. Just keep in mind that some rolls require more or less rice. It's like that with most sushi joints. This past time our bill came to 50.27. With that, we got four rolls, two cups of tea, edamame, and the complimentary soup and cream puff. It's not that bad for excellent service, great food, and a lot of food.

We live nearby and eat here all the time! The sushi is always fresh and delicious! We love this place! Very large rolls that take more than one bite to eat!

My girlfriend and I went here for dinner and I have got to say, I'm impressed. The portions are huge. We got yellowtail nigiri, the size of the fish was about 2-3x the size I'm used to elsewhere. We also got the superman, crazy and sunshine rolls. All of which were very large portions. The amount of fish on each was very generous. The lady that works there is very nice. She is playful and always makes sure your meal is going wonderful. Both of us will definitely be back for more!

Sushi can't be any better....but the atmosphere isn't quite as grand! If you get takeout you won't be disappointed! The owners are kind and very generous with the portion size! Excellent Wakame salad as well!

I'm not a big sushi guy... but the Iron Man sushi here was pretty awesome. I'd never had lobster on my sushi before, and now I'm not sure I ever want sushi without it! The prices are no deal, but the pieces are pretty big. One order is plenty for a single person. Or at least it was for me... Don't waste your time/money on the non sushi items... those seemed rather blah.

Tried Sushi 'N" take-out last night due to the positive reviews on Yelp. I ordered the Iron Man as recommended and very happy! For $14 it is more than enough for one person, and combined with a salad or other side dish, could make a nice meal for two (although I will NEVER get wife to ever try sushi). Note however, these are not your typical sushi rolls. They are bigger and come with various toppings. You eat them with utensils (fork for me, I have never been able to get chopsticks to work properly except to stab the food like a one-pronged fork). So if you are expecting small, eat with your hands type sushi, you will be disappointed. All my Saginaw friends ought to give this place a try. I highly recommend it!

Service is friendly and warm. We ordered two lunch combos (large portion), which came with soup and salad. She brought out some edamame as well. We also ordered the Iron Man, their top seller. Sushi flavors were pretty good. Way too much rice, though. And the Iron Man was not as delicious as I'd hoped. We'll be back again to try something else!

By far the best sushi in Saginaw! Service is super fast and everyone is very friendly. The waitress remembered us on our second trip in. Huge variety of rolls and they are very filling!

Another delicious dinner at Sushi N! Please don't hesitate to give it a try. Best sushi around.

I absolutely love this place. Best in the tri-cities area. I was surprised that a salad was included. Great, friendly service. Prices are very reasonable and portions are generous. I could eat the Philadelphia roll everyday!

Cheaper and better than Hello Sushi or Genji (which aren't bad places to get Sushi by any means). Lots of variety, big servings, good stuff.

I'm not a fan of sushi so I ordered the chicken teriyaki. Meat was moist and well flavored. Excellent!

This restaurant has a great selection of rolls, but they use extremely too much rice! The rolls are too big and it is very hard to eat in one bite. My sister and I were peeling the rice from the rolls by the end of the meal because it was physically impossible to eat the rolls. Cut the rice in half and this place would have great rolls!

Great customer service terrible sushi rolls. My wife had a Cali roll and They were nice enough to make me a tuna avocado roll when they only make tuna rolls and avocado rolls. So that's cool but the sushi itself was a major let down. It was too much sticky rice, portion size of tuna and avocado were great for the price but the taste was miserable and the sushi was warm, idk what was up with that but time will tell if I'm up all night with diarrhea.

We are long-time residents of Saginaw County, MI and have always enjoyed the only other decent places for sushi in Saginaw (Hello Sushi and Genji). Wife and I have enjoyed sushi in many major metro areas of the US, as well as in the South Pacific. When we learned that one of our favorite sushi chefs from Hello Sushi had decided to open his own restaurtant across town (Shields, MI), we hoped it would provide a refreshing cahnge of pace, not just another ho-hum option. Our first visit to Sushi 'N was on a Monday evening, with our two teens in tow (one loves sushi, the other won't touch it, but she's a foodie and was curious to see what else they offered), and we arrived with high expectations. Let me say this right up front: the quality, freshness, presentation, and flavors of the food we enjoyed at Sushi 'N will definitely have us coming back, and sending our friends! Don't be fooled by the unassuming setting, located in a small strip of businesses (mostly empty), with simple decor and limited seating - the focus here is on the food. From the brightly colored placemats filled with mouth-watering pics of several of the special rolls offered, to the detailed selections that invite you to build your own sushi creation, to the popular open kitchen permitting a view of the artists at work, this place takes sushi to another level for our area... and despite its modest size, rivals some of the more popular sushi spots we've visited over the years. Be aware though, no kiddie menu here - this is for serious sushi lovers only - and the rest of the menu offerings are just so-so, but hopefully will get better with time and success. We ordered a variety of special rolls, most featuring tuna, salmon, and shrimp in various combinations, showcasing a mix of designs and flavor touches. Even our daughter found a dish to her liking, the day's special of tempura shrimp over a bed of seasoned rice. The presentation of our mixed roll platter was superb, and whetted our appetite even further - an impressive splash of color and textures, shapes and sauces. But what impressed us the most, and has convinced us this is our #1 local sushi destination, was the obvious quality, freshness and delectible flavors of each piece we savored. The tuna and salmon - and even the shrimp (which should be a no-brainer, but are often ruined in other shops) - were among the best we've had anywhere, perfectly firm and proportioned, without a trace of stale fishiness or telltale loss of texture. The rice was perfectly prepared, with just the right degree of stickiness, and the wraps were equally fresh and tender to the bite (ever tried to gnaw through one that wasn't, without deconstructing your roll in the process?). Although the meal value is average, with the menu pricing about what you would expect for sushi of this quality and in this locale (at $10-13 for most of the special rolls), the sheer quality of the taste experience makes it worth every penny... try them and see for yourself. Be sure to take time to chat it up with the delightful owner and staff, as they are still finding their feet here and welcome your feedback. We hope Sushi 'N finds a following that allows it to thrive in our area... although we'll regret it when we have to fight the crowds!

I absolutely love this place! Great sushi, really friendly staff, quick service as well. I get take out here very often. The lady knows me and my order now and always throws in free miso soup and salad, and extra sauce. The specialty rolls are delicious. I love the avatar roll and the golden California roll. I have had many others as well. I have eaten at the restaurant several times. Good prices for sushi.

Way too much RICE! Sushi should be consumed in one bite. I hate when you have to put the whole thing in your mouth and can barely chew. I just had a Cali roll and it was a little too fishy. My husband got a tuna avocado roll which we had to special order (who doesn't serve tuna avocado roll???) and it was just not good, and warm! So weird! Hello Sushi wasn't very good either. Is there any good sushi in Saginaw??

Wonderful authentic sushi restaurant. The nigiri pieces were huge. The maki rolls were inventive and delicious. (I would highly recommend the iron man roll.) Incredibly well-priced for the amount and quality of the fish you are receiving -- it is really a steal. Restaurant staff are extremely friendly and hospitable. Definitely the best sushi restaurant in the area, would highly recommend to others.

First time there, had take out. The 3 of us weren't impressed. Had 4 different rolls. They used way too much rice for the rolls and didn't care for the sauces they used. But the lady that helped was super friendly :)

I've been here about 3 times already and each time was a great experience. I tried the ironman as suggested by other reviewers but didn't care for it too. I did however love the tuna lovers roll and the cherry blossom roll. The sushi pieces here are huge and you could easily get full from just 2 of them. They taste very good but it terms of quality and taste they rank behind Hello Sushi. In terms of value for the amount of food you get, this place beats out Hello Sushi. I still go to Hello Sushi when I want the best sushi in town. But to get my sushi fix when I'm low on cash I like to hit up Sushi N.

Excellent, top notch sushi. Very, very friendly staff. Prices are what I expect for first class sushi, sashimi, etc. I thought $2 for the house salad that was a small bowl of iceberg lettuce with a ranch style dressing and not even a sliver of carrot to color it was too much. (throw in a grape tomato or something guys!) Be warned though--not a place to take a non-sushi person. The only item on the large menu that is served above room temp is the miso soup. Everything other item is room temp or chilled. No egg/spring rolls, teriyaki, tempura, bulgoki (sp?) that type of thing. I will say this is easily the best sushi in the Saginaw area (and I've eaten it nationwide for decades--way before it was the fad) but if you need a more varied --read cooked-- menu you'll need to go to Hello Sushi

A great place with a wonderful menu for the sushi lover. The owners are very nice and attentive. If you're new to sushi you will quickly move to the advent would menu. Be sure to get the salads or sashimi very generous portions although the most expensive.

Best sushi I've had. Holy crap. The rolls are gigantic. My girlfriend and I came in at 2:30 despite knowing that they, for some reason, close from 3-4:30, then reopen. After a few minutes a woman working there asked if we were ready. We weren't, and she said something along the lines of "Order at once we close at 3." Well that was nice... we eventually ordered and got our food after a few minutes. The total wound up being $44 for two entrees and two rolls. The entrees were only about $8 each and came with a salad that had a mayo-base dressing... not sure exactly what was in it, since the guy who makes it said it's a secret. It's interesting and super good though. I got bulgogi donburi which is basically sliced beef marinated in Korean BBQ sauce on top of noodles and rice with some vegetables. Holy crap, it was great for a place that supposedly specializes in sushi. The beef is of nice quality and pretty plentiful too. The Kiss of Fire and Crispy Crunchy rolls were both also excellent. I preferred the Kiss of Fire roll (which was on special) marginally, but they're entirely different rolls. As others have said, the rolls are huge, and splitting two would have been plenty for a meal between two people. It's not cheap (I wouldn't trust sushi that was), but the rolls are probably the biggest I've eaten, and it's all fresh and delicious. Sushi 'N' is another very good example of the cliche "Don't judge a book by its cover." -- fantastic food all-around.

My husband and I stopped on our way through town to a Concert. The sushi was very fresh. The udon soup was perfectly cooked and the dumplings were some of the best I've had. The service was great. Everyone was very friendly. I especially loved the Iron Man Roll. It was amazing! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was there wasn't a large selection of fish. Overall, this place is worth the stop!!!

Great sushi place. The rolls are very very large. I went with the country girl and it was extremely good. I will definitely stop back when I'm in the area.
